For more than 30 years, Mr. Hodge has represented clients before the National Transportation Safety Board and the Federal Aviation Administration. He has also represented clients in state and federal trial and appellate courts in matters related to pilots, mechanics, instructors, flight schools, air taxis, airports, fixed base operators, and air carrier operations.
Mr. Hodge is frequently called on to investigate matters arising out of accidents, incidents, violations, maintenance issues, and aviation industry contracts. Cases have involved aircraft ranging from small general aviation aircraft to Boeing 737 and Airbus A-320 transport category aircraft. Recently, he has assisted the South Carolina Division of Aeronautics in the first comprehensive revision of the State's Aeronautics Code in over 40 years.
Credentials: Mr. Hodge has more than 22,000 flight hours, primarily in transport aircraft in domestic and international operations. He holds ATP certificates and type ratings in B-737, B-757, B-767, A-320, and A-330 aircraft. He holds Flight Engineer Turbojet, Flight and Ground Instructor, Seaplane and Glider ratings, and is an aircraft owner. He has over 35 years experience with Federal Aviation Regulations 43, 61, 91, 135, 121, and 141.
